When you are ready to post an ad, these are the steps to follow:
To edit and update your ad, you need to click on the update link in your confirmation email. You will be directed to the posting form in which it will be prefilled with your existing details. Make changes and follow through with the exact steps as if you are posting a new ad. You will again be asked to read and accept to our Terms of Use. Activate the ad and a confirmation email will be sent to you.
If you need to remove your ad before it expires, click on the delete link in your confirmation email. It will automatically expire your ad and will longer be visible on Posting Avenue.
If you wish to extend your ad longer than the expiration date, click on the extend link in your confirmation email. You will be directed to the posting form in which it will be prefilled with your existing details. If there is no changes, click on Preview button and then Continue button in successive screen. You will be asked to read and agree to our Terms of Use. Click the Activate button to extend your ad. A confirmation email will be sent to you.
If you wish to repost your ad so that it appears on the top of listing, you will delete existing ad and create a new ad. For your convenience, create your new ad first before deleting the existing one. This enables you to copy and paste from existing details.
Posting Avenue accepts one image per posting. You do so at the posting form by clicking on the Add Image button. Image are automatically resized not to exceed 300 pixels any dimension to standardize the presentation in all our ads. The maximum image size we accept is 4M bytes. You can add more images (image files must be hosted elsewhere) by adding HTML image tag within your posting description.
You do so by adding HTML tag, for example <A href="http://www.destinationlink.com">Click Here</A> , to within your posting description.
Click on the Reply to Add link on the ad details page. If you are replying to an email, your default desktop/laptop email application will pop up. However if you are replying to an ad number (the ad owner wishes to hide his/her from general viewing), a Reply to Advertisement form will show up. Type in your reply and it will be sent to the ad owner. You can reply to ad by other means if ad contains email, telephone number or address by which the ad owner wish to be contacted.
